Fashion has a way of placing interesting names on things that people just do, then it becomes a trend it's like: "Oh you're doing this too are you". A prime example is this trend I've been told is called colour blocking in the fashion press. From my little montage you should be able to see what I mean. Wearing basic unbranded (complimentary or vividly contrasting) colours is a very interesting way of switching things up. This is a bit different from adolescent colour coordination, which really does look odd to me. This is a deeper, more thought out and perhaps more refined way of achieving casual looks. It's also pretty fun to test out different shades and hues to go with one another. All in all, its something males should try out... although I'm unconvinced that its all that new.
